Most major economies are fast coming to terms with the impact of the 4th industrial revolution - where the lines between physical, digital and biological boundaries are being blurred at break-neck speeds. Economies which once led based on their physical output are being overtaken by those with intellectual and technological capital.
The UAE has been striving to diversify its economy away from hydrocarbons, since the early 1980’s. But to leap forward and take centre stage in the world economy, the UAE must pre-empt the needs of the 5th industrial revolution - where ‘humanity’ becomes the focus.
The UAE’s 2071 vision is based on becoming the centre of the knowledge economy - bringing together the world’s greatest minds, to solve humankind’s biggest challenges. From world hunger, to access to education and the role of government - the UAE wants to be a platform for people and technology to come together to build a better world.
Piecing together the fragmented inventory structure of the wellbeing industry and making it seamlessly bookable through a single flow was a real triumph.
Supplementing that with a single currency that enabled global organisations to cascade a cash benefit to employees regardless of where they were, simplified adoption and utilisation.
